Hi, I have done the search; but most of them are posted years ago. I would love some new and updated opinions of these two schools.
Thank you very much!🙂

Hello, can anyone provide some opinions of this topic?😴
I chose western over AZCOM #1 because of the clinical years. AZCOM's move to the preceptorship based things kind of worries me. Technology is also pretty bare at AZCOM (they dont record lectures, etc.). Also, Western reputation in Socal is great.
thank you. can you comment specifically about the clinical years?🙄
My vote goes to Western as well. I was accepted at both, but decided that Western has a better rotation set up, and I didn't really want to deal with the 100 student increase and be in a guinea pig class. Even if they have a plan for it, and it sounds like they do, I'm sure there will be some hiccups along the way. The 100 extra rotation slots might be a problem, and there have been some rotation quality issues in the past, and 3rd year is most important for me, so I decided to go with Western. I'm sure you can become a great doctor coming from both places, but Western just felt better for me.
I'm with PistolPete on this one and throwing in my vote for Western. you can get a good education in both places but the class increase in AZCOM scares me. AZCOM does have enough rotations in place but i doubt the amount of facilities needed for MS1 and MS2. plus western has been around longer thus more experience. However, pick Tourocom-harlem more exposure to diverse medicine and better rotations being in new york😀. i chose tourocom and withdrew my app from azcom because azcom simply can't compare to either western and tourocom (and i don't feel a late interviews are worth it).
