Was unable to open up the Lamer injection technique paper for this on my computer for some reason.

Anybody have success with interspinous ligament injections or other procedures for managment of the "kissing spine". I have not done one...yet.

Thx

i have done this one time on purpose. It was young patient with what i thought was more muscular pain with pain on rotation and deep palpation over the spinous process. She had a fall and for months i had this pain. She was told she had a broken spinous process. I put her under fluoro and wanted to see. i palpated over the area, and she seemed to have pain, i thought it was more of a Trigger or something or nothing...so i gave her a TPI but she kept saying that i wasnt "hitting it" i felt kind of deep, so i took a lateral and saw that the spinous processes still farther away, so i said whatever, ill go to the ligament and see what happens... sure enough, she said it was right there. i put local and some steroid where i believed the ligament to be. she said it helped a lot. Have not done it intentionally since that time. so who knows...it was like 2 years ago.
