Hello, again. What is better? Should you get your Bachelors Degree as a Science or Biology major before applying to Pharmacy School. Or should you finish the minimum pre-requisite work before applying? Do most applicants that are accepted into Pharmacy School have a bachelors?

Check with the school you are interested in to see what their requirements are, each school is a little different. I know most of the schools I applied to the majority of students will have earned a degree before starting their first professional year. One school requires that students have a bachelors before the end of P1 year.

I would suggest applying the year you're finishing up your pre-reqs, regardless. That way, if you don't get in the first time you apply, you're not stuck wondering "what do I do next?" and you can then work toward finishing your degree before applying again.

It's up to the individual in my opinion. A bachelor's degree would prepare you some more, but are you willing to go that extra year or two for that? I'm applying right now after my 2nd year of undergraduate because I feel I'm adequately prepared now and going another 2 years for a degree would not benefit me very much. Neither option is necessarily "better" than the other except w/ the bachelor's degree comes a better chance of getting accepted.
