512 (127 chem, 127 bio, 128 cars, 130 psych), 3.93 GPA, idk if my science scores are too low for a biology major, am completing undergrad in 3 years at a state school.

60 hours of physician shadowing
8 months of OBGYN med assistant
1.5 years of volunteer EMT, am certified
secretary of a club, part of the student council, pre-health club, knitting club that donates items to needy
1.5 years of hospital volunteer

school list this cycle:
Quinnipiac
Drexel
Penn State
Thomas Jefferson
Albany
NYMC
NJMS
Temple
NYIT
RowanSOM
Cooper
Hofstra
NYU
Mt. Sinai
Georgetown
George Washington
Stony Brook
Robert Wood
SUNY downstate
Vermont
*Received 5 MD IIs, 3 MD waitlists (one was my state school), 1 MD post-II rejection (also state school), 1 pending decision (small school, probably will be wait listed bc interviewed at one of their last days). Applied at end of October for 1 DO school, received a II then got waitlisted. Applied at end of December for 3 more DO schools, received 2 II for early April. I did apply for Seton Hall and CUSM (interviewing there soon so I guess 6 MD IIs now).

I feel like my main problem is my interviewing skills but with each interview I feel like I'm getting better and better. I did do a lot of prep by myself with video recording and with family, school, friends after my first two waitlists. I did get a lot of interviews so my app is probably ok, although I think I could add more non-clinical volunteering, as of now I think only the knitting club would count in that category ~150 hours

Is it a good idea to just apply this upcoming cycle June 2018 with a new school list? I realized that for my list this cycle I didn't look beyond the east coast...I was thinking:
Miami Miller
Rush
Loyola
Rosalind Franklin
Tulane
Tufts
Western Michigan Stryker
Saint Louis
Wake Forest
V tech
Eastern Virginia
Virginia common wealth
West Virginia
Oakland Beaumont
emory
ohio state
oregon
possibly new schools like Roseman, Kieser

tldr: Got a decent amount of interview invites this cycle, problem is probably my interviewing skills which I feel like are a lot better now, should I just begin to prepare for applying this upcoming cycle with a new school list with basically same app?

Have you ever considered one of the more reputable offshore schools which has appropriate accreditation and approval? If interested lets talk.
OP, don't. Your mcat and gpa are just fine. You'd want to be a reapplicant for several cycles + gave DO schools a good try (aka not apply to them last minute like you did this cycle) before considering off shore

Thanks, yes I would definitely look to offshore only as a last option...this was my first cycle so I'm still hopeful for something to pull through but what do u think about applying back to back?

I think you have a good shot at DO schools applying back to back but you'll probably want to boost your application a bit for MD schools. I'll let the more knowledgeable folks on this forum like @Goro advist about this, but between now and application time, I would engage in more extracurricular activity, maybe some that aren't so clinical but show your personality, if I were you.

OR H&S will be a donation since they heavily favor the home team.
Forget Va Tech unless you're from the Appalachians
Forget OH State

Add more DO schools and work on the interview skills.

Thanks for the feedback! Edited list for MD schools. I thought OH state had a significant amount of out of states and average MCAT at 512?

If you got that many IIs and no acceptance it's either your interviewing skills or a bad letter(s).

The problem with April interviews for DO is you're likely interviewing for a WL spot.
