I'm wondering if anyone had particularly good resources to read up on specific surgeries that they will be scrubbing in on? Just as an example, I'm currently on Ob-Gyn and I'll be in on a vaginal myomectomy on Monday and wondering what sources I should look at for things aside from basic anatomy (i.e. techniques, changes to the procedure etc)

For Surgery, Surg Recall was gold for pimp questions. Covered the anatomy and other management issues you might want to know about. I know there's an OB/Gyn Recall but I never read it... might be worth a peek.

Key stuff to know off the top of my head:
-relevant anatomy
-indications for the surgery
-complications and how to recognize them
-how to manage your patient

I usually used uptodate for most of my specific surgery readings. It covers most ground, including pre, intra and post surgical care and pretty decent for most things that the attending might pimp you on.
