bad ACS gen chem exam

Guys,

We just took the ACS exam at the end of chem 2 for our final. My percentage was 75 percentile, which was 47\70 correct. This concerns me, as a 20 on the DAT in gen chem is somewhere in the 90 percentile range.

Am I wrong to think success on one correlates with the other? Something isnt jiving with me, out of all the chem sections only one person did better than i with a 48, yet I only made 75 percentile? Anyone whos taken both exams please give me your thoughts.

ACS final is much more specific than the DAT. However, your score shows that you weren't clear on all the concepts. When it comes to the DAT, make sure you understand all the concepts and can solve the equations quickly.

I really like your DAT scores. 20s' ALL ACROSS .. Never seen a score like that!
