Bad idea to take COMLEX 2 CE 3 days after the PE?

Just wanted some thoughts on this. Currently have PE on 14th (tried to push it back but January's avail - which I'd do - if I didn't have to pay $150) and CE on the 17th. Is it do-able or stupid/risky to do this? Otherwise, I could see to moving the CE to the 12th ... thoughts? Thanks!

Ask yourself if you will need the last few days or a week cramming for CE? If so, then move CE first. If you think you are not going to be studying a lot in between the 3 days then leave it as you have it.

Also energy level question to ask yourself. It is doable. But taking the CE before PE is better because for the CE you want to be energized. If you are tired after the PE and you personally take 2-4 days to recover then you may want to take CE first. Either way it is doable.
PE is pass or fail and less pressure.

You seem to have been through it. How tiring is the PE? Is it pretty bad or is it not too bad? There's what ... 12-14 patients to see in 6-7 hrs? No, I've not really began to look too much into it quite yet.

I'm hoping to be super ready by the time I take the CE. I've already gone through everything except OMT (mainly just covered that with COMQuest) in like 1.5 weeks ... I plan to continue to hit it hard daily and weekly, and ever so nightly! I didn't realize how much it'd come back to me, of course, I still suck at the developmental stages when it comes to pediatrics ... and burns, haha!

Any perspective on the fatigue factor? I'm likely driving from TN to Philly and back. I hate how our only option is Philly ... MD kids have it so easy with multiple test sites! 🙄

I took both Physical exam boards USMLE and COMLEX...I dont see why you couldnt do both 3 days apart.....aside from just being tired of driving etc. They are so very similar...You'll feel like one was a run through and the next was game day.
