Do you think it is a bad idea to stop being pre-med simply because you don't enjoy pre-med classes?

I have been giving this some thought because my university offers physiology classes and I don't really want to take them. The only reason I would take a physiology class is for medicine, so I am wondering if this bodes ill for a future career in medicine.

Any thoughts?

"Physiology" is not a pre-med requirement. Just take another bio with a lab like genetics or molecular bio.

Physiology in med school is only a month long, maybe not even.

Totally depends on what you're into. If you would rather be playing the tuba, join the band. Find something that interests you.

I thought medical school is basically 1.5 years of advanced applied physiology...

I also thought medical school was gonna be hell. Well, it's pretty rosy so far, especially the flora I see on the feet of some patients.

You'll see when you get to med school.

Addenum: Good attitude though; however, this is the type of stuff you reserve for telling admissions why you love science.
