Hi All
For those who have already gotten at least an interview for this cycle 2005, did anyone have a "bad" experience? If so, why was it bad? (And if you had good interviews, congratualtions!!!). 🙄

Well at one interview the guy looked at my stats and said convince me why you will come here over your state school because I know you will get into your state school and we are 100K more over the course of 4 years; I know I would not do it.... 🙄

That is weird! I mean should'nt he had more confidence in what his school will offer you and let you decide where to attend later. I hope that he will not think you as an applicant who is not serious about attending his school when he told you what he thought about your score. Do you think some Adcom may not fight for you when they think you will choose other school over their school ( which I think would be unfair)?

I have an interview coming up tomorrow at the University of Oklahoma. I'll let you know how it goes.

I think the question he asked Taco is completely legit. Even if most schools don't ask applicants, you know it has to come into consideration. I mean, if you're from state XYZ, you have great stats, and you'll save $100,000 over the course of 4 years by attending your state school, then sending you an acceptance letter might be a waste of ink, envelope, and stamp. It seems like common sense.

Anyway, to Taco, that is a tough question, and I think you answered it supremely well.
