Bad Semester

I am applying to pharm school this month and was just looking for some feedback about explaining a bad semester. I made 2 C's (physics 1 and Organic 1). During that semester I found out that I was pregnant, then had complications and was on medication to try and save the pregnancy but that didn't work. As if that wasn't enough my father had some medical problems so I spent a lot of timetraveling back and forth to see him. I don't want to seem like I am making excuses but I would like them to know that I didn't just not study. Any thoughts???

Use all diversity as a stepping stone, not reason. Find a way to take something from the experience that will help you in pharmacy school and use it in your personal statement or interview.

Explain your situation in your personal statement. As long as over all your application is strong, i don't think those 2 Cs will kill your chances of being accepted in pharmacy school.
