You should be able to receive interviews from some of your Texas MD schools. Also apply to several DO schools and you have TCOM and UIWSOM in Texas.

Texas med schools tend to be a little more GPA-centered than average, so your UG school could be very important. You said 'prestigious'. Is it also a known grade deflator? (Think MIT, CalTech, Cornell, UC Berkeley)
If not, the questions I would have pertain to your work ethic and consistency. (Hmmm, this person's clearly very bright -- but why the low GPA? Immature? Partier? Emotional health issues?)
Strive to address those concerns in your essays.
