Search Grasshopper, Search! I do know it's one of the oldest US d schools (not as in decrepit, I mean it's been around since the beginning of dentaldom), is getting some shiny new facilities, and has a great rep.

Here's the scoop on Maryland:

1) good clinical

2) lots of research

3) new dental building = going to have great facilities

4) oldest dental school in the world

The only thing that sucks about Maryland is Batimore... crime rates are high, but atleast you are in the nicer part of the city(which isnt saying much)
