To all aspiring Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, our OMFS residency has just been approved for a non categorical pgy1 position starting immediately. First years are given the opportunity to spend a lot of time in the operating room including being first assistant on many cases. We are the only head and neck service that is on trauma call at our busy level one trauma center. This results in extensive trauma and reconstruction training. In addition the intern will place a bunch of implants at our dental school affiliation. Essentially the plan is for them to receive the same training as a first year resident. If you are interested in this position or know anyone who is interested in this position please let me know! We are looking for someone who could start in the next month. We have a great resident culture and are only willing to accept someone who is truly a team player and easy to get along with.
