Hey crew

I really didn't know how big of a deal studying for the DAT was for a lot of people till after I took the test and found this website. Anyway, if you are looking for a good source of practice tests and summaries of material, I certainly recommend Barron's DAT study book, which is only 14$ on amazon. It does have a lot of mistakes in its answer key, but it has four full practice tests and is a great summary of material. Barron's was the only book I studied from and I actually did really well on the test so just something to keep in mind I guess if you are looking for more material or at least a few decent practice tests, which are the best way to learn in my opinion.

Its good that it worked for you. I fear for the vast majority of the people its just not the best place to spend their time. Given that most people study for the DAT 1-2 months, they will rarely deviate from the DentalWorks plan stickied here. I personally used the older Baron's version and it was not as good as other materials I used.

Perhaps it is not the best, but at least the price is nothing to sneeze at. its only 14dollars, and as it appears people on this sight seem to be willing to shell out some big bucks for some of these other materials. Of course you do what you have to do to prepare, but you can avoid coughing up a few hundred/thousand dollars on materials for the test.
