I have to shout out my former school. I attended the BMS MS program at Barry, and loved it. If anyone has any questions about the program I would love to answer them. I graduated in 2007, but I still remember the program.

What is the average GPA and Mcat score to get into the program? I have cGPA 2.73 and sGPA 2.50 and Mcat score is 10K. Do I have any shot to get into this program?

miami shores is nice, but when u get 2 80 st and lower it is hood. The program is not hard all u have 2 do is study first and play later. Your name implies u want 2 b a POD the good thing is that the classes 4 bms tranfers over im not sure how many though. Hope i helped u.

i dont think so. 4 the 2yr program mcat needed was a 16 or 18. Gpa numbers i dont recall. U could take the GRE though they r accepted 4 the 2 yr program

The housing in the immediate area is safe....I knew predental in the program actually one of the electives is some dental class...I am not sure what it is about because I was not predent sorry.....The tuition was about 8k a semester do not quote me I do not remember check the website but it was definetly not 40k!!!!!!!!!!!!😍😍

Please understand this Barry will increase your GPA, but you still have to do other things to increase your apps. For ex. increase MCAT, research volunteer, leadership, shadowing, good LOR's etc...the people that I know including myself that went to Barry and got into MD american schools had good grades, and had other things that made them good candidates. I know people that did not get in they had good grades at Barry, but MCAT scores were low or they did not have anything else.

Hi faith,

I am currently in the 2yr BMS program right now and will be starting my MD application process this summer.

Here is my stat, and was wondering if you can give me some advice on how to improve myself to be more competitive for med school???

I believe I can come out of this program w/a very high GPA (not 4.0 b/c of Dr. Laudan's pathophys class!!!)....but the only problem is that my undergrad cumulative & science gpa is 2.85 & 2.65. My previous MCAT score is 20, but I am hoping to do extremely well when I retake it. And I have one+ year of undergrad research, a semester of volunteering, one shadowing so far (hopefully at least one more before summer)...& im not worried about LORs..what do you think??? I am really worried b/c..what If i come out of this program w/all A's and only 1 B, and still not get accepted to med school...plz give me some feedback...
