Most cities throughout the country have men's baseball leagues. I know for example, in Boston there are at least 4 men's baseball leagues, and if you travel a little outside the city, there are several more. I would expect you would find a similar situation anywhere you go, with the possible exception of very remote/rural areas. There's a good chance you can find a league to match your level of experience/competitiveness. I would suggest just trying to jump on any ol'team as opposed to making a team entirely of residents. Not only are you unlikely to find enough interest, but on any given night it'll be a nightmare fielding a team. You're better off joining an established team and telling them straight up that there will be some games that you just can't make. If you're in the Boston/Providence area, let me know, I can point you in the right direction.

come on down to Durham, NC
there is a great adult men's baseball league, mostly guys in their 20s and 30s, who played in high school or college
best part is your games are in historic Durham Athletic Park, where the Durham Bulls used to play (and of course, where the legendary "Bull Durham" was filmed)
