I am scheduled for mid July and right now I am trying to do as much practice passages as possible before I start my FL in a week. Is it normal to not feel like I am learning much by doing these passages? Is it just the practice that counts? I mean I am learning from them, but nothing extreme that I didn't really already know.

Also...a lil help on the actual exam itself...If someone can refer me to a link about how many passages per subject, how much time each section is allowed and also time of breaks in between each subject, and also the exact order of subjects on the test and if the essay portion will be on the computer or paper I would appreciate it!! I am sure all these questions have been asked so thats why I say refer me to a link unless someone wants to actually answer these themselves. thanks!

I think that I had similar experiences with the passages when I first started but as you tackle more of them you start learning about how to work through them both quickly and efficiently - you start understanding what types of questions are asked, and how to go about answering them. I also started learning when to skim, and when not to skim- and it's helpful to figure out a strategy that works for you.

Regarding your questions about the format of the MCAT- all this info can be found on the AAMC website in the MCAT section.
