OK this may seem silly and basic, but I am running a pre-health forum at my undergrad this week and we are answering questions about how the application process works for different types of grad schools. Im very familiar with the MD/DO application process having toughed it out this season, but have absolutely NO idea how the DPT process works, or what the timeframe is. Would anyone mind posting some basics and/or resources I can give to students interested in this field?

Thank you in advance!!!

It is the new central application system for PT applicants. Everything else is similar to MD applications. You submit your application on PTCAS and then most schools require secondary applications as well.

Most schools interview, some don't.

GRE scores are important to some AdComms, and not even required by others

Almost every school requires some sort of PT observation, work experience, etc. which must be documented on your PTCAS application.
