We used Bates for our second-year course in physical diagnosis. I've always found it pretty useful.

You're kidding, right? Fourth year? How would you be able to do all those H&P's during third year, then?
 
Exactly. We do 6 years, starting to go to wards at 4th.
So, anyone else has suggestions? they told us to buy Dioguardi, which is an OLD Italian text and I don't like it. They said anything else would be fine too. I cannot have a look at the books from here, will order them on amazon. So suggestions are appreciated.

Oh, I see. I studied abroad too, only my med school was St. George's on the Caribbean island of Grenada. We do our first two years of basic sciences on the island, and our last two years, which are clinical rotations, in the US (generally in New York or New Jersey).
