Anyone who applied MSTP to Baylor been accepted to the MD program?

I swear I hear crickets chirping in Texas. I haven't heard from them in almost two months. I even called them and they just said they were looking at my file.

well, after 3 months! I finally received their interview invitation. So, kind of makes me wonder if I am just a leftover for them to fill the spot.... Besides, the thing is now I've had everything else lined up already. It's going to be so much trouble for me to make rearrangement..... 🙁 🙁 🙁

you probably have gotten the email from them by now. mine said you won't hear back until at least feb 6th.

For those waiting to hear back, are you talking from the MSTP for candidate review or from the medical school for admittance? From what I remember, the MD has to come before the MSTP invitation. One of the guys I interviewed with in October heard back from the MD a week later. I've had no such luck though. Ditto on the e-mail this week.

I applied to the MSTP and was accepted for the MD program. They took forever in giving an invitation to interview (3 months between me submitting my secondary and the interview date), but I received the acceptance letter from the medical school 2 weeks later. So now I am waiting to hear back for candidate review. The MSTP sent out an e-mail saying that they won't invite anyone for review:

1) until after Feb. 6th (their last interview) which is what Newquagmire was referring to

and

2) until your file was complete with the medical school

Bad Mojo remembers correctly, you must be accepted into the medical school before an MSTP invitation.

Was talking about Candidate Review, although those who are familiar with the seedy underside of Baylor might be aware that some acceptances have already been parcelled out.
