For Baylor secondary, there are 2 prompts and one of them is explain any hardships you have overcome or still have. Would not having any medical or dental insurance count as a hardship to overcome? especially if you have to wait to get the medical or dental care you need in another country? or nah

Of course it counts as a hardship. You'd need to explain why though. Plenty of people have no insurance but have other ways of funding their care.

That's not a hardship... It's upon your own volition to have insurance and even required now with Obamacare. Although, I assume there seems to be an underlying cause for you not having insurance, as it may be due to your family not having enough money to buy it. BUT if that's not the case, then you not purchasing insurance despite having enough money to do so would be illogical and NOT a hardship.
