Hey, I took this class in undergrad, although at the time, it was with Dr. Fluharty (who is amazing!!!). Anyways, Dr. Heerding is awesome too - she was my advisor at Penn, and I took Behavioral Pharmacology with her.
As far as that class goes, the exams were pretty straight forward (one of the only ones at Penn!), so if you go to class and take good notes, you should be fine. Also, Dr. Heerding is quite straight-forward as well -- she'll teach you A LOT of material, but again, as long as you listen during all lectures and take good notes, you should be just fine. She doesn't try to trick you, so just know the stuff as it's presented.
Hope this helps -- if you like the brain, this is a fun class!
