Just about everything that seems like it might be on the fence will get classified as a social science or not a science at all. BCPM is very strict.
 
yeah that's what i thought originally. would statistics for behavioral science count as math?
 
I hate to continue the "what about (insert class here)", but I've also been confused about this.

What about environmental toxicology courses? There are a few upper-divisions I have to take for the major, and some require a prerequisite of organic chem, along with addressing biological effects on human health. Most of them are listed with a SciEng GE credit.

the same way cognitive neuroscience is under bcpm albeit it is a psych course, i would say that environmental toxicology would fall under the same logic.

how is cog neuro a psych class?

ive taken psych and bio and cog neuro was basically all bio..
 
at my school cog neuro is offered by the psych dept
 
at mine it's in both the cogsci department and neuro department but not psych.

fair enough.

as long as cog neuro counts as bcpm, although it actually is a core psych class at my university.
