I would like to prepare the BCSC on audio for listening to while working out, traveling or commuting. Anyone who is interested in reading a section aloud and recording it, please PM me and we can collaborate.

Hmm. That's an interesting idea, but it would take so long for each book!

I do agree though that audiobooks are great for studying. I just got one for the "Mnemonics in Ophthalmology" book and they are good to listen to while doing the above activities.

Does anyone know of any other audiobook type resources for ophtho residents? I'd be very interested in there.

Not much longer than it takes to read them in the first place, which I imagine you're planning to do. If we get a dozen people together, each do one, it will be done in a month. And think, you'll have them to study from for the next few years, and for board exams. The earlier you get on board, the better the payoff.

I drive quite a bit, and have learned a lot by using ophtho audio. But I cannot imagine trying to listen to the BCSC on audio. It literally takes a year of reading regularly to get through the whole BCSC.

I'd recommend listening to audio of OKAP's/Boards review courses.
