Heya BeanBean, so I got into the PostBacc... 🙂 Can you tell me which advisor I should take in addition to Dr. Grimm-Jorgensen? My options are: Dr. John Tanaka or Dr. Debra Kendall. Thanks.

I had Dr. Kendall as my advisor and she is an awesome lady. I have only met Dr. Tanaka a few times, but he seems very nice and people say he is very helpful as well. I think either way you will be just fine.

Dr. Grimm is wonderful and she will provide great support and advice to you.

Best of luck for the upcoming year! Feel free to PM if you have any specific questions. The courseload is tough and there are some crazy weeks where everything seems to be due at once, but just make connections with the other post-baccs in your classes and support each other.

So how do I go about finding a place in Storrs nearby? Did you move there for the Post-Bacc year and then move again to Farmington the year after? Where did you live? How did you manage to take care of the FA? I know that I already asked you this, but which classes would you recommend and which ones would you avoid... either from personal experience or reputation. Thanks! 🙂
