has anyone heard anything bad or good from the schools they applied to? are most of the schools sending out acceptances around this time....i'm so excited, i just got in to llu.

It came from the dean at UCSF, he stated this at the recent interview sessions. Supposedly, there's a ranking system used that's passed onto the deans of all the dental schools. I don't know how much truth there is to it, but I think the dean isn't lying, especially since it's not his school that came out on top.

He didn't tell us #2, but UCSF was #3. The actual measurement was "clinical output" or how many patients are treated. Personally I don't know if this is the definative way to measure the clinical aspect of a school, but I guess it's the only feesible one (?). Maybe the part 2's would be a better measurement ... I don't really know since I'm only a pre-dent.
