for secondaries, sometimes i submit all the stuff, and several days later i receive a "complete" email, while others i go the app website and it says im and complete and under review.

Do some schools email the complete stuff and others don't? does it vary from school to school.

Almost all schools will give you an indication of whether you are complete or not. Some email, some have a status page that you can check.
