I am doing a project for Practice Managment course. Any ideas on how optometrists can be more involved in the profession at the national, state, and local levels?

Any suggestions would definitely help!

Dear OPTIV,

What is your hypothesis for your project?

So far the options i came up with:

National Level:
1. AOA-PAC
2. Keyperson/Grassroots network
3. AOA Federal Government Relations Center (and its committees: Professional relations committee, public health and disease prevention committee, and federal relations committee)
4. AOA American Optometric Institution (American Foundation for Visual Awareness, AOA Endowment Fund, Vision USA)
5. InfantSee

State Level:
1. State Optometric Association

Local Level:
1. Local Optometric Societies
2. Lion's Club
3. Prevent Blindness

Dear OPTIV,

I wasn't clear on your post whether you were responding to my post. Were responding to my question "what is the hypothesis of your project"?

Dear Dr. Hom,

My second post was in reply to your question.

Thanks again.

I'm not sure you've answered my question, then. What is your hypothesis? Are you proposing something. What will be the desired outcome or effect of your project ?

Just a question,
