Since getting published matters for the competitive specialties, what are some things to look out for? I normally check Pubmed for # of publications and most recent publications. Also, I have heard that it is better to go with someone up and coming vs. somebody established. How true is this?
2 cases as an example: established guy has been publishing something every 2-3 months. However, the up and coming guy: every 8-10 months.
