Did a search for a recent thread about interviews at Belmont but couldn't find much so.....anyone going to interview?! I RSVP'd to the November date :soexcited:. I'm actually quite shocked at how fast this happened considering my application was just sent on Tuesday. Also if anyone out there has interviewed at Belmont, do you have any tips? Thanks!

Congrats! That's exciting. I just finished my application as well and am waiting to hear back from them. What were your stats??

do you mean e-submit on PTCAS? if so, it took a few weeks for them to process the application. there is also a short supplemental app for Belmont as well. good luck!!

Anyone out there have experience with the Belmont interview process?? I'm nervous!! hahah

Hey, I have an interview with Belmont PT on Sept. 21st and was just wondering if anyone was familiar with the interview process there? (interviews questions, etc..)

I applied last cycle and will be starting school in Jan at UAB. I interviewed with Belmont last Dec and was accepted off the waiting list in May. Unfortunately UAB was my first choice so I turned down Belmont. The interview process at Belmont was very laid back and comfortable. There were around 40 applicants in my interview. When I say that, the actual interview was one on one with a faculty member. very laid back questions like: why physical therapy? How will you cope with stress? Whats the different between a PT and OT/ ATC. And some personal questions. You will be going on a tour also of the school. They split us up into 3 groups out of the 40 and pne group started the tour while one went to a lab and one to interviews and then visa versa. Overall Belmont was awesome. I would come prepared with questions for the interviewer and make sure you dress appropriately( suits for men and most girls were wearing suits also). Hope this helps.

Thanks that helped. Enjoyed the interview and it was pretty much exactly how you described it lol I liked how laid back it was

Glad to hear your interview went well! As far as hotels and what not, where did you stay and would you recommend it? Also, did you rent a car or go with a taxi?

I stayed at a holiday inn like a mile a way from the campus. There are a lot of hotels right by the school and I think there's a list of close ones on the website or they'll email you when the date gets closer. I drove up so I just used my car to get there in the morning.

Hey everyone! I just got an email invitation to an interview from Belmont! I will most likely RSVP to the Oct. 26th date. If anyone has any tips for the interview it would be greatly appreciated!!! Good luck to you all! 😀

I am attending the interview on Oct. 26 also! I agree, any tips would be great : ) So excited!

I interviewed there two weeks ago. It was very laid back. Went on a tour of facilities in groups and did a one on one interview with a faculty member. They asked simple questions like why PT, why Belmont, ect.. They only ask five questions in one on one interview. Good luck!

no but they said that they accept more people than they have spots for
