Bench exam and retaking part 1

Hi all
I have taken bench exam once already and was planning on retaking part1. I was wondering if this could affect my bench exam eligibility. People have discussed this earlier in other threads but was inconclusive. If anyone has spoken to DBC or has any knowledge on this subject, I would appreciate their suggestions.
