hey guys, what book do u recommend for the best preparation for the GRE, i am also studying for the MCAT and have all the materials, i am concerned of the best book for the GRE!!!!

Please post your wise inputs!!!!!

I have to admit I didn't study that much for the GRE (it was a piece of cake compared to the MCAT because the format is a lot like the SAT - concepts instead of specific material) but the book I used was from Kaplan. If you don't do anything else, take the practice tests on the CD. They give you a chance to get used to the computer-based format and go over the answers you got wrong.
Good luck!🙂

I wouldn't waste your money on a book. I took it twice instead (the first time it was hard to get used to the computer format) and my score went up 220 points. I wouldn't even bother studying for the GRE - just focus on the MCAT.

I'm using the Cracking the GRE book by Kaplan. My roomie used it and did good on the test...said it was pud though.

Cracking the GRE is by The Princeton Review. Kaplan's book is called just Kaplan GRE or something like that.

Sorry my bad. As you can tell I don't give a crap abnout the GRE.

The best thing to do is use the official ETS GRE book. After all, they ARE the ones who write the exam. Plus, they send you a practice CD when you register. It is helpful for practicing on the computer. Good luck!
