Hi everyone,

I'm going to ask the same question that has been asked a million times before.

I suck at math. REALLY suck. My test day is next friday... where do I start? Is destroyer/Kaplan enough? I really don't want to be that person to score a 12...but it's a possibility. Studying math for me is like plucking out my eyelashes one by one...anyone agree?😱

I suck at math. No joke my first practice I got a 10 on it. I went over Kaplan's math untimed to just try and understand it but their word problems are frustrating as hell, especially because they say you should be able to do 30 word problems in 30 minutes (ya right.) However, I improved. Once I got to destroyer I immeditely found it was much easier than Kaplan's stuff and that boosted my confidence. Then after destroyer I did topscore and achiever math. As a result I've scored 19 on achiever math and 21 on topscore so this method definitely boosted me up from a 10!

Thanks for the advice... I did the kaplan subject tests (2 of them) about a month ago and I don't think I'll remember how to do any of the word problems! So now I'm just going to slowly do destroyer once and try to do it again tomorrow. And somehow between now and then I will study all the other subjects too!

Hey good luck today! You will do great 😉

I heard from people that the kaplan GRE/GMAT math book is good, but I have not even looked at it! (Even though my exam is 8/31)😳

I have a GRE book from Princeton Review thats good, although it doesn't cover trig, it does have some helpful "tricks". And an SAT workbook, which seems good although I haven't started it yet. Just go down to your bookstore (or library) and thumb through anything that looks relevant. And crank out *as many problems as possible.* Seriously, the thing with math is to practice until you're sick of it.

I'm suck at math too. I'm mean, i got an 11. Hey guys, what is the Destroyer book you guys are talking about, what is that? And what is the Achiever? I heard it many times in here and dont know what they are. Please help. Thanks.

haha I'm on number 30 on Destroyer and my eyes are already bleeding.
