"What I Learned from Med School" is ok, but I'm not a fan of how it focuses exclusively on diversity. I much prefer reading books about residency because that's where there are a lot of patient cases discussed. "Med School Confidential" is informative and not anecdotal, but it does discuss what med school is like. I get the impression, from the lack of narrative biographies about med school, that the good stuff comes later.
There is this one title that I can't remember, but it's about Harvard med students and the lessons they learn... amazon would have it if you searched for medical school.
