Hey guys, any recommendation for a good clinical handbook?
Something along the line of the Scutmonkey book, something which has dosages for drugs/fluids to give for emergencies and cases etc

I used the Surgical guide during my surgery rotation, since I was a brand new MS-III and knew less than nothing. It had a lot of good basic info on fluids.

For more detail about diseases, I just bought Pocket Medicine: http://www.amazon.com/Pocket-Medici...74/ref=pd_sim_b_2/102-2038461-6993714?ie=UTF8

Say, a patient comes in with septic shock, does the MGH book tell you how much/which specific abx to give?

Or someone with hypovolemic shock, how much fluids to transfuse?
