hey guys

do you know of any good DAT-prep. book? So far I've used the Kaplan DAT 3rd. ed. which i think is poor with only couple real tests and 90% of it being just review of the material (bio, chem, etc.).

I think Barron's DAT is a little better than the Kaplan because it gives you a little more exercises on the PAT and Reading towards the end of the book.

I'm looking for one with plenty of exercises so I can really get used to the format and train myself.

any recommendations? suggestions?

Thanks !

use the MCAT review books by Kaplan. they are separate, fairly thin books, each for bio, chem, and orgo.

then for questions, use the "Topscore for DAT" CD-ROM. search for it on Google. it's well worth the money and much better than practice exams that Barron's or Kaplan write.

i used the Kaplan review books and TOpscore, and got low to high 20's on every section.
