Hey guys,

Does anybody know what allopathic EM programs are considered top notch in terms of getting SLOE's? I am a DO student and I have only heard of a couple of programs that will put "will not rank" on their evaluations, and I am trying to avoid rotations that do that, but I don't know which ones. . I would like to get a few SLOEs from great programs on my auditions, even though I may not be able to match there given my DO status. Any help would be great.

I would consider Temple in Philly. The clerkship director, David Wald, is a DO and they have a number of DOs in the program if I'm not mistaken.

Not sure where you're looking geographically but look at BMC in Boston. I rotated there and loved it -- the residents/faculty are amazing and the PD is one of the nicest people I've ever met, period. You also get to put in all your own orders without cosignatures (except for meds), which gives you more ability to function independently. They also have a couple DO residents in their program.
