I just wanted to know if anyone had any good experinces with the hotels LECOM or WVSOM lists? The closer to the school the better. By the way. I will be driving to both schools

For LECOM I stayed at the Fairfield (by marriot). It is a nice to place to stay and affordable. Plus it was super close to the school, the closest hotel I believe. Hope that helps

The General Lewis Inn was great for WVSOM. You all meet there for breakfast so you can sleep in an extra 10 minutes and don't have to worry about finding the place.

I stayed at the Comfort Inn when I went to LECOM. It was nice, clean, and had a good breakfast. Only problem was that the thermostat in the room only had two temperatures...cold and nuclear reactor. I got up 3 times during the night turning the heat up or down because I was sweating or freezing.

I agree the General Lewis Inn is a the best place to stay when interviewing at WVSOM. In addition to being able to sleep in longer you also get a pretty nice room.

i'm still in erie (sitting in the airport as i type this actually). i had a great day and loved the school. i stayed at the hampton inn-north. it was a great room, decent breakfast (all continental breakfasts are the same really), but not so close to LECOM. i took a cab to LECOM...10 min drive maybe? some hotels will have their shuttle drop you off and pick you up at LECOM so ask when you book your hotel.

I stayed at the Econo Lodge on Peach Street while interviewing. It's about a 10 minute drive to campus, so it's not so bad. If you like, the hotel shuttle will take and bring you back from the interview. The rooms were very nice and the staff was extremely friendly. Also, if you're looking to relax before the big day, I highly recommend hanging out in the hot tub or pool during the evening. I did that and it was extremely relaxing. They also offer reduced rates if you mention you're interviewing at LECOM. Good luck and I hope you have a comfortable stay whereever you go!
