Best job for State residency considerations?

Hello all,

I got accepted to a medical school in a different state that will allow for instate tuition after one year if I gain residency. In order to do so, I would need to provide a W-2 form among other things like driver license, voter registration, etc. I was wondering what kinds of jobs would be pretty easy to do as I adjust to medical school. Or if anyone else has any advice on tips to changing state residencies would be greatly appreciated.

Some friends do research that doubled as work. So they can use the research for the medschool app as well.
