Edit: This really doesn't take into account the fact that there are 12,000 biology applicants, as opposed to 1000 BME or 200 Physics applicants. You really need a higher "n" here for every major.

True, it is possible that since there are a MUCH larger sample size for Biology majors the scores may tend to average out. Although in my opinion, once you get in the 1000s, the sample size should be decent enough to lend itself for analysis. 200 is far too low, I agree there.
