Best material for RC?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
This is the toughest section to improve on. However it can be done with time. I improved from 15 to 22. I used to never read novels but after getting a mere 8.9 percentile, I started reading anything I got my hands on. The section is not hard, its just the time and pressure to do well that gets people.
I hope you the best.

Didn't know DJ Tiesto was interested in dentistry now. Hmm.

Practice by reading passages and articles (preferably scientific ones), and make sure you can grasp the overall idea as well as certain details within a limited amount of time. This is basically what the DAT tests you on. Take practice tests using book and/or online resources; for this section, practice tests will go a long way.

EDIT: Maybe this will help. http://forums.studentdoctor.net/showthread.php?t=1025576

Best of luck.

ive been using crackdat rc and qvault but mostly crackdat, started off with around the same, about a 15. after seeing many questions I began to recognize the type of distinctions that are asked in the questions which allowed me to improve my scores, now im scoring usually around 20-21 but my dat is on tuesday and im pretty nervous about it. I think my day/hours prior to the test will involve at least the couple rc practice tests I have been saving.

I do not think doing practice tests hours before your test is a good idea. I know it would not work well for me because of the way my body works.

im just basing this off of my improved practice test scores when I do multiples in a day, I think it might be putting my brain in the mode of knowing what to look for when I read the passages. but I guess we'll just have to see
