Hello all,

Currently I have the Kaplan 2015 7 book set for content review. For CARS I have EK 101 and plan on getting TPRH.

In your opinion what were the best books for content review? What are the best books to buy for practice passages? What FL's should I buy other than AAMC? Money is not an issue.

Thanks!

kaplan and khan academy to supplement psych soc should be all you need for content. as for practice, I was a fan of next step and my score was actually closer to what I was getting on those than AAMC practice tests. I think they have 6 or 7 tests that you can buy

If you haven't already, check out the MCAT forum on SDN, there are lots of "product reviews" there.

Do you mind going into detail about your study plan? I'm also using kaplan material and have been struggling with content.

Yeah but I didn't really focus much on content review. I spent about a month going through the Kaplan books and just that. For the next 2 months I spent my time taking one practice test ever week, reviewing this, and then watching the khan video corresponding to things I was consistently getting wrong. I also had the Princeton review hyper learning book that had a ton of practice problems for every subject so I would do problems that I was missing on practice tests out of that too. I think content review is only good if your really misunderstanding something but once you have a basis doing practice problems really makes the info stick

What did you use for your practice tests?

TPR 4LyFe. Take all the practice exams you can!

Consensus from what I've gathered is TBR is the best for content review however your Kaplan books will be fine. I second Next Step as having some great FL's.
