I've heard July or April are hard months for the curve for MCAT because a lot of people take it then. What are the best months or weeks of the month? I'm planning on doing it september.

I've always liked August as the month to take it. Gives you the summer after the semester ends to study for it and then a break before the school year starts up again (assuming you still are in school)

I'm not sure if there's any real facts behind what months lead to better curves it's probably just neurotic pre-meds trying to make themselves feel better.

I took it Sept and i felt the curve was on my side.

I’m taking it end of July I hope you are wrong about July being a bad month for curve

Your MCAT is curved using every single MCAT test taker since the inception of the 2015 version. That’s also why percentiles are updated every May.
Yah, it isn’t going to be based on your comparison to all test takers on that day. Every MCAT is made up of questions similar to ones that were practice questions on other MCAT exams. So, a tests individual curve is already set before you even take the test. Then that curve is curved based on the 3 year overall curve.

At least that is how it was explained to me.

take the test when you're most prepared. As others have mentioned, the curve doesn't differ with each testing date

Whatever month you're 100% ready. And stop thinking like a pre-med.

I'll add one bit to this. Whatever month you're 100% ready. And stop thinking like a pre-med. AND in time so that you have your score back prior to applying for whatever cycle. It's less than ideal to not have your score after a cycle starts. 1. Can't create a thorough list 2. The looming threat of having to retake.

Take it in February. 3rd week of the month on Thursday. Really good curve.

Doesn't matter when you take your test, it's not curved based on your test day.
