My test is a few months away and I wanted to start watching some Ochem videos since I never really understood the material. I hear with Ochem, the most important thing is having a good intuitive sense as to what goes on, rather than memorizing meaningless reactions. What video series do you think would provide this for me?

Khan academy? Wikipremed? Chad's? Freelance Teacher? Something else, perhaps? let me know please (I would like to watch the video for about an hour a day for the next 3-4 weeks)

Isn't Chad an organic chemist?

I've never used his videos, but I've heard nothing but amazing things. Maybe someone else will chime in.

I've heard he has good General Chemistry Videos, but his Ochem videos aren't good enough for the MCAT (they are for the DAT, though).

I am using his vids right now.
His shortcuts are amazing.
It is definitely worth your money.

Perhaps I had it backwards and he's actually a gen chem whiz.

Either way, if I weren't in a Kaplan course I've heard just about enough on here to be sold on him. 👍

Chad's are no doubt the best I have seen. It's really not that much cost. I would recommend reading through TBR and finding out what you are struggling on and then pay for a 30 day subscription and just use the videos to help iron out the things you keep getting wrong. I think audio/video should only be used to supplement and present the material in "another" way to help clarify things you might not understand.

hey, alan. when do u think the new videos will be up. I think many students like myself are studying for the DAT and would prefer to see them during the summer time.
