Hey all!
So ochem is clearly my weakest point, as it is for so many, and I was wondering what the best ochem review would be? EK, TPR, Kaplan, Orgo as a Second Language? Any opinions?
Cheers

Berkeley Review is clearly the best. I love Organic and have used O-Chem as 2nd language when i took the coure, and I can tell you that using BR will suffice. It covers material very very well.

i felt like ochem was going to be my biggest weakness, but TBR coupled with my organic chemistry textbook (McMurry Organic Chemistry 7e, torrent on usual places) have me feeling like a pro.

I went ahead and bought TBR on ebay (can you believe they charge $33 for shipping?! on TBR's website?!).
Let's hope it will help!

As long as you got a version of the o chem book from 2007 or later you'll be fine. It's usually best to buy used BR books from SDN classifieds, because they are the most current. Amazon and eBay are notorious for selling BR books as old as 1995.

And for what it's worth, you can thank FedEx for the ourrageous shipping prices and BR paranoia for not seeking out a cheaper shipper.

i've only used kaplan and TPR and in my opinion, kaplan was much better than TPR, which was seemed to quickly brush on everything without going into detail.

I made sure it was a newer edition - it's from 2010.
I understand why they decided to go with those shippers, but I would have rather have bought it straight from them vs. second hand.
With all the books I have bought, the extra 30 dollars for shipping was a killer though :\ deal breaker.

whatever you do, dont buy the kaplan book, they are full of terrible analogies.
everytime i see one of their comparison like neuron vs boy scout...i died a little inside
