So I'm about to start my first year in college and I want to really improve my MCAT verbal. I thought maybe by reading academic or medical journals or such??? My SAT verbal was 640 so you can see that my verbal is very weak. Can someone post a link to a site with academic journals or somehting I should be reading which will well prepare me for the MCAT's.

So shold I read academic and medical journals or is there anything else that i should be reading.

please tell me and post links!!!!!!

I think what really helped me was taking philosophy classes. I took a general philosophy course and a bioethics course. The reading is really dense and will definitely help you get through the philosophy passages on the mcat with more ease. Also--your english and other humanities courses will help you greatly. Try not to worry about it--your improvement will come naturally.
