I was an engineer in undergrad so Physics wasn't a problem for me. I checked out the Nova Physics book at the library for a bit; but it was a little too elementary for me. They do a pretty good job of teaching you how to think in terms of proportions and such, which comes in handy on the MCAT.
I always thought learning the concepts in undergrad would help the most for Physics. You can't really just learn the concepts in Physics using only MCAT review books in my opinion. But I suppose I would tell you to use Nova to learn the concepts if you aren't going to take Physics... and when you have a pretty good understanding, move onto books like TPR's Science Workbook or Berkeley Review's Physics books that go into some more detail and offer more difficult practice problems to hone your Physics understanding.
EK's conciseness hurts it most in the realm of Physics, in my opinion. I've looked at it and I can't really recommend it for Physics unless you have just taken it or have been a physics major or engineer and have a solid base in Physics.
