****, i'm gonna take step 1 in 6 days.

should i just keep reading FA over and over? and reread the qbank questions i got wrong?

I have 80 pages of notes from BRS Path, and I think that might be a waste of time to read

i finished all of qbank, and my average was 67%. I didn't see much improvement. started around 60%, and ended around 70%. None of the "80's toward the end" that other people hear talk about. Occasionally i'd get a few 75's and 80's.

Stick with pathology. It's where you get the most bang for your buck. For the first couple of days cover stuff you don't know well or feel weak in. Try to gain some ground in these areas. For the last days do the stuff you know well. This may not be easy but it will keep your confidence high. And confidence will truly help you on test day.

I spent 6 of my last 7 days doing nothing but questions. (on the 7th day I read FA)

On one of these days, impose USMLE time limits to test your break and meal strategy.

This might be a bit extreme, but I think it is useful to dedicate at least a third of your time to this. At this point, don't waste time reading explanations for questions you get right, just focus on doing as many as you can.

If you make yourself a question-answering machine, the salient aspects of each question will really stand out and you'll be able to approach the critical thinking and recall aspects of the questions in a calm, practiced manner. Doing questions will also reinforce the most high yield information.

Make sure you get enough sleep.

Just do the questions. On the day before the exam, go to a movie, or a spa. Relax. It will help you a lot.

Goodluck!
