I will be starting my pre-reqs in the Fall semester and am wondering what is the best way to spread them out. Is grouping Orgo with a certain other class more problematic etc. I also keep hearing that you should take a year of chem first and then take bio 101 and orgo at the same time.. but I worry about being able to take the necessary classes before i take the MCATS.

Biology 101, Bio 2
General Chemistry 1, Gen Chem 2
Organic Chemistry 1, Orgo 2
Biochemistry
Physics 1, Phys 2
Genetics
Cell and Molecular Biology
Human Physiology

I took Bio and Chem 1 at the same time--it wasn't an issue for me. I wanted to take physics and ochem together in the fall semester, but since I had transfered to a university, I thought it'd be best to take ochem spring semester and just focus on physics alone. It pushed me back a bit, now i'm planning to take physics 2 in the summer. Just find what works best for you so that you don't overload/underload yourself.

What most of my friends and I did was take Bio101 and genchem together in the first year, followed by ochem and physics in the second year. We filled in the bio classes where we had room or just took other necessary classes if that particular semester was very challenging.
