Best Practice Management / Billing / Scheduling software

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
There are many - I can think of a half dozen off the top of my head - and what's "best" will depend on the individual practice type and what they're needed for. Not to mention that what's "best" for an associate or a receptionist might not be "best' for management, etc. Small animal clinic, food animal clinic, mixed clinic, emergency clinic, mobile clinic, housecall practice, specialty practice.......you get the idea. One would not be best for all.

And how much effort you put in to customizing the software/learning all its features can also make a huge difference.

I've worked at a Cornerstone practice that had customized medical notes depending on what kind of exam/surgery was performed, automatically imported rads/lab work, the charges were easy to enter, had perfect reminder lists, daily schedule was easy to read, etc. And I've worked at a practice that only used Cornerstone for client invoices. Guess which practice found the software more useful ("the best").
